I can smell the Culvers burgers already. Construction is starting on the Waconia Crossings development. It’s said to include Culver’s, AT&T, Dollar Tree, Holiday Stationstores, Starbucks and Sports Clips. Construction could be done by fall.

Public Service Announcement (and good deed) for the day: If you’re traveling in & around Waconia High School, be very, very careful. Glare ice in each turn lane (especially left-turn lane by Super America). It’s almost “bumper car-like” in that area. I understand that the temps are low, and product doesn’t work as well, but it appears as if NO salt/sand has been applied in one of the highest traffic volume areas in town (really baffled by that one and annoyed). HWY 5 clearly has had salt applied by the state and is in decent shape. BE CAREFUL FOLKS!

Waconia is having an Oktoberfest Sat October 8th 12pm – 12am at the Carver County Fairgrounds Entertainment building $7 advance $12 at door Tickets also get you in for the main drawing.
